Day-by-Day Plan
Day 1
BIA to Negombo
Arrival and transfer. Evening relaxation on a Lagoon Boat Tour.
Day 2
Habarana
Travel inland for a night surrounded by nature in Habarana, a tranquil stopover en route to the East coast.
Day 3
Trincomalee Heritage
Visit Koneswaram Temple, Fort Frederick, Seruwawila Rajamaha Viharaya, St. Mary's Cathedral and Pathirakali Amman Temple.
Day 4
Trincomalee Water
Dive into clear waters for Pigeon Island snorkelling and a Catamaran Whale and Dolphin Watching excursion.
Day 5
Arugam Bay
Travel down the eastern seaboard to Arugam Bay. Swap the ocean for the jungle with a rugged Private Jeep Safari in Kumana National Park.
Day 6
Hiriketiya & Matara
Head to the deep south. Stop in Matara for the incredible Hummanaya Blow Hole. Spend the rest of the day surfing and relaxing at trendy Hiriketiya bay.
Day 7
Mirissa
Mirissa Coconut Tree Hill photos. Whale and Dolphin Catamaran Tour, Sea Turtle Hatchery visit, then snorkelling, scuba diving or fishing.
Day 8
Galle
Galle Fort, Stilt Fishermen, Japanese Peace Pagoda, feeding turtles at Turtle Beach. Madu River Safari, Lunuganga & Brief Garden, Kosgoda Turtle Conservation, Jungle Beach and jet-skiing.
Day 9
Colombo to Departure
Brief city tour of Colombo before transferring to BIA for departure.
