Walk or ride to the lagoon for calm water colours at the end of the day.
Tuk tuk to another break when Main Point is crowded or too advanced.
Head toward park areas south of the bay for elephants and other wildlife when you want a break from surf.
Tuk tuks and bikes cover the bay and nearby breaks. A private car helps for longer park day trips. Surfboard transfer space matters when booking vehicles.
May to September is the main surf season on this coast. Seas and weather differ from the southwest winter season. Check swell forecasts with local schools.
