Day by day plan
Day 1
Colombo to Kandy
Drive to Kandy via the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Evening Temple of the Tooth Relic visit. Kandyan cultural dance show.
Day 2
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya by Train
Board the highland train from Kandy. Pass through tea estates and misty mountains. Visit a working tea factory in Nuwara Eliya for a plucking and tasting experience.
Day 3
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Train to Ella. Walk the Nine Arches Bridge. Hike Little Adam's Peak for wide valley views. Visit Ravana Falls.
Day 4
Ella and Departure
Sunrise hike or morning tea at your guesthouse. Transfer to Colombo airport or continue your trip. Optional: Ella Rock full day hike.
