Day by day plan
Day 1
Colombo to Udawalawe
Drive to Udawalawe National Park. Afternoon jeep safari. This park has Sri Lanka's highest concentration of wild elephants (600+). Overnight near the park.
Day 2
Sinharaja Rainforest
Morning walk in Sinharaja, Sri Lanka's only rainforest and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Expert naturalist guide. Endemic birds, lizards, and butterflies.
Day 3
Yala National Park
Full day in Yala with two safaris (morning and afternoon). High leopard density, plus sloth bears, crocodiles, and elephants.
Day 4
Mirissa Whale Watching and Departure
Pre dawn whale watching boat tour off Mirissa. Blue whales, sperm whales, and spinner dolphins. Return to Colombo for departure.
